I have no problem with the defeat we were beaten by the better team on the night.

Best of luck to St Albans and I wish you well in the future.

What I have trouble with is the nonsense spouted by EFM and others of similar ilk.

In the same vein as your post - Zagreus/EFM/Rob the saint etc

Tom Davies was booked "let it go

ur turning into a bitter olde queen(s)"

Deal with it!

Well, from where I was standing (i think in my original post I said "As far as I could see") it looked like Davies got booked even though he was trying to retreat. I was stood behind the goal with the Enfield goalie in it. If I'm wrong, like you and AFF suggest, then smack my bum with a 12" ruler. I can't believe I've committed sucha travesty!!!!! However, a few minutes later we got awarded a free kick just outside your penalty area to the right of the goal. We tried to take it quickly, but your players rushed in to block it and wouldn't get out of the way. Did they get booked? No.

I thought the ref was poor and very inconsistent. What did you think Steph?

He walked from behind the ball into the path of the kick, so it was an offence.

The 12 inch ruler might be more up Steph's street than mine, Zag. so I'll pass on that, thanks for offering.

I, too spotted the second incident when we were prevented from taking the quick free-kick just outside of theri area and, remarkably, I too compared it to Davis' booking momentarily.

I believe that the difference when we were prevented from taking the kick was that the referee was standing over the ball beside Mark Graham [scott?] waving the Town defence backwards. He hadn't signalled for the kick to be taken, in effect, and that may be the difference.

Certainly, he had a nightmare. I wondered if it was only his second game. The foul which led to the booking of Peter Castle took place right in front of me. Even the Town bench couldn't believe that they were awarded a free-kick, let alone that t'lad was booked.

Hi Zealster.

A thousand apologies, my friend. I've just checked. It was your best mate EFMTFTV who suggested that Steph is Harding dressed in womens clothing.

Hi HM.

Slimeball a bit strong? Oh I dunno. Try scumbag.

Great avatar, by the way. Has he lost weight? Who cuts his hair?

Hey, why stop a discussion when it's getting inteesting.

I guess the rule is that if the ref has signalled a free kick can be taken, and the player is still not 10 yards away then he deserves a yellow card. The ref should allow sufficient time for the defenders to move away though.

10 yards in one second though? anyone who can do that should be in the Olympic sprint team.
