I'd say there were easily more people there on Tuesday than last Friday, difference is Enfeild Town probably fiddled their gate upwards in order to look popular!

Yeah. Town are really going to pay St Albans more through the gate, just to make us look good. If we have to pay you half the gate money, are we really going to UP the crowd figure

The truth is, that over the two games, Town had more home fans, and more away fans than St Albans.

Small teams always up their gates against the giants of football, I'd say the crowd on Friday was about 350 with Tuesdays about 700

We'll let you know if that's true when we play the giants of football.

Only a complete fool, would say there were more people at the replay.I think it proves that a lot of St Albans fans are of the 'casual' variety. It seems that having Man U or Arsenal on TV ,cuts badly into their attendence figures

It was blatantly obvious that more people attended the first game than the replay.

I don't think St Albans fans are of the casual variety; there are just not many of them for a Conf South side. The crowd on Tuesday was in keeping with their average this season (albeit with a higher percentage of away fans than normal).

St Albans gates this season:
v Cambridge 413
v Bognor 311
v Weymouth 526
v Eastbourne 405
v Enfield Town 436

The only exception being Weymouth and they get 1,236 at home on average.

When were St Albans "Giants" of football ?

I should think there were only about 50 of St Albans old gits in attendance as the rest were being tucked up in bed in the "Homes"

Where they belong on cold Friday nights.

If you could get some real support you might have a case but allas no.

Bet ETFC finish higher than StAb in their respective leagues.

And I'm a neutral

I've just read the Towns match report and it says Kieron Woodward played and was brought down in the 52nd minute.
I didnt see him out there did anyone else ?
Your back line might have been a bit tighter if he was.

Who writes these reports ?

The 1- 1 draw certainly said this. The 3 - 0 didn't. i think you mixed the two reports up in your bonce on this occasion.

Don't you mean ,other teams away support in the Conference South is bigger than away support in the Southern Div1 East.

I doubt you actually have more 'Home' fans.

Reagarding 'thrashed'. We played poorly but were still well in contention for most of the game.St Albans score three headed goals (taking advantage of the fact that both our big central defenders were suspended for the game). Two of the headers happened whilst our defender was off the pitch being treated for injuries, and your third goal went in on the whistle in the 94th minute.

Regarding a 'pub team'.All it needs is a little slip in form by the Saints and we could well be playing each other in the same league next season.Anyway, see you in five years-or-so's time, when we pass you in the pyramid.Actually make that three years.

who cares i live in the present

now nearly a week on time to let it go, its embarassing
