I don't know what game you were watching LS! I thought we looked good up until the Hammet miss. We were playing a side two leagues higher and the lads made some great moves into their box. the finishing should have been better. Steve Baldwin played really well. I do agree with you about Hammet. however, it was the substitutions that were wrong. Greene should never have been taken off, we needed his height. Once Hammet mised the goal, his head dropped and there was no way he was giong to perform for the rest of the match. He should have been brought off then.

I agree with Mr Happy and I also think that as well as the foul langue all the "we hate ...." songs and the singing about a certain north london premier side should be forgotten about, there are more people with no interest in them than there is who support them amongst Towners, if you go to support the Town then SUPPORT THE TOWN!!!

Well said Brunob.

 

If we all used as much effort in supporting the Town and singing about the 'team' than singing about oher teams and slating everything not associated with ETFC, then I am sure than the atmosphere would be a whole lot better.

 

The thing is we have only just started the 2005 - 2006 campaign in a new league. Just off the top having won 5 league games and some people think the season is over!

Nobody was sent off, they scored twice while we had players off being treated after they "didn't" get kicked by st slbans city players.

How small was the team that finished the game? Is it me or do we need some height in the team?

Which is where I agree with others on the Maurice Byfield point.

Is Dean Greene recovering from injury still? why is he still being substituted on the hour mark??

The game ended with Johnny Morgan fireing in great crosses but aimed at who? Kojo, Rudi, Hammett & Lionel Ritchie?, Penn had gone off so I doubt we had anyone on the park over 5' 10".

Says more about you lot, that the only noise heard from the Saints fans was coming from six 14 year olds, who waited until half time to turn up, so that they could get in for nothing. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

More shamefull for the saints was that even though Town brought twice as many fans as St Albans did to Enfield .The crowd was still 100 less than in the first game. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I recall that I wrote to you stating that your navigation should improve as you were going somewhere in Essex. I still find it strange that you get lost going to your home team!

Small teams always up their gates against the giants of football, I'd say the crowd on Friday was about 350 with Tuesdays about 700
