Well done Fleet, another very professional performance against a big, strong side who were taking few prisoners, and as inept a ref as I have seen all season.

Great goal by Jacko, and very solid throughout the team. Special mention to Craig Holloway, superb clean handling, yet again, and a truly great save at the end. Now looks a quality Conference keeper.

But PLEASE come over to the main road stand to receive your merited applause!

Hope Charlie's injury isn't too serious. They way they loaded him on the stretcher with his legs flapping around suggests it may not be too serious, just very painful. I hope.

706 was the attendance tonight.

Some bloke infront of me said he wasn't going to the York game because he wants to watch England. I wonder how many will be doing this.

I didn't realise just how miserable a few on the half-way liner were before tonight. Kim Grant got a bit of abuse before he even came on.

Anyway, I thought we played alright. Obviously more comfortable once we got the second goal (and what a cracker!).

I watched Bowry with a lot of interest tonight. he seemed good. Lots of simple passes and didn't give it away too much.

I thought Jay Saunders and Ross Smith (as always) had good games.

Indeed

Great win tonight, really what we needed to hike ourselves up for the trek to Lancashire on saturday.

Agree with all your points there CG apart from maybe the Charlie thing where you may jinx it by saying this, always expect the worst! Appart from this well said!

Well done to everyone especially Jako, looked sharped all night, played superb and a quality goal to end a special evening.

Up the Fleet!

Agree! The free kick was special! Blinder!

Hope also that Charlie's okay, though first looks I thought he had done his ankle in the turf, but if you say he was moving it then it might not be as bad as that.

Thought Manny had a nothing game again. He does not seem up for it this season.

I will not be at the York game, as I will be driving to Wales! Though I am tempted to go to the game and set off straight afterwards as it is a 13:00 kick off! It would mean late night arriving in Wales though! Hmm, what to do?

He is definately short of confidence, and I think this shows in his playing. He seems to be commiting fowls and receiving cards more and more this season, and I see the frustration in him. He seems as if he does want the ball, but not being able to manouve himself in the right positions at the right times.

I am not saying at all Manny is a bad player, but I think a goal or two, even if its a tap in, would raise the confidence in him and he will be another new player to add to the squad this season

Given the little time he was on, Manny did ok. One searing chase late on, gave the defender 3 yards start, caught him and only a great clearance stopped a 1 on 1 with the keeper.

Kim Grant also looks quality, like Bobby, does the simple things, with time to spare. I would like to see him in pairing with Charlie sometime, coulsd surprise a few better defences, with their undoubted class.

When the physio suspects a break or serious ligament damage, the key is to immobilise the leg. To my mind, he was transported off far quicker than any broken leg or other seroius injury I have seen at Fleet, which leaves me optomistic.

Probably a bit early for such a judgement, but there were some promising signs from him last night.

A great Jacko free-kick to seal his big night - something we've seen little of since our Dr. Martens days.

Jay impressed me in particular last night - including a great lay-off for Charlie's goal.

Yet again , no one was leaps and bounds above everyone else and no one so poor it showed, Hence they are working as a team.

Cracking freekick. Would have graced any game at any level. From where I was standing , it appeare dto swerve and the dip late.

One of if not the best at Stonebridge road for many a year
