I'm in the 2pm Saturday camp. I agree with Unc about the Friday option and, if we kick off at 1pm, we run the risk of a number of fans going home to watch England rather than spending money in the bar. A 2pm kick off would mean many wouldn't be able to get home in time and may be tempted to stay and have a few beers.

i think friday's are nicer as there is more room to jump up and down and rub your hands together when you are cold and go "brrrrrrr, cold tonight dave, fancy a cuppa?"

Hmmm... What about those of us - who are flying in from the west coast of the USA for the game? Do I change my flight to a day earlier to make the Friday - or do I arrive even more jet lagged for an earlier kick off? Mind you I will probably look the same as normal, jet lagged or not!

 

Whatever Jon & Jenn decide, lets hope everyone will get out and cheer the boys on!

6am saturday 8th.

 

Currently in Eureka, Northern California.

 

Stayed last night in a small village some 150 miles south, where at 1.30am the sirens went off to alert the volunteer fire department of an emergency. Woke the entire village up. All good fun.

 

Thanks for the texts - although do not have mobile phone signal at present - but do have wireless internet - I think the locals have the wrong priority....

England who really cares about them over the urchins but if its indusive to the finances by playing on saturday then surely its a no brainer ?
