Thoughts on the Game 8th October

We are due to play Brentwood in the GBT at 3.00pm.

 

The England games starts at 4.00pm and I need the Bar and Restaurant cleared for 6.30 for a private function. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

 

Shall I ask Brentwood to move the game to 1.30pm so you can watch the game and have a couple of hours in the bar?? Views please

We have two games already kicking Off early, London APSA mid-day & Tilbury 1pm, the FA have given sanction to clubs to bring KO earlier, because of the England game.

I've got a much better idea - let the APSA match go on at midday, put the HFC match back to 7.30 pm and that means we can get to another at three pm and get in three matches in one day.

 

Alternatively why not get the England match put back or forward, or even put off completely?

however, nette needs the clubhouse for 6.30.

 

the only way we can squeeze them all in is to go for the 2pm marathon. 12-1.50ish aveley. burn down the lanes, quick pint, 2pm kick off. in the bar for 4pm kick off and onto another one for the evening international game (bound to be one)

friday night will reduce the attendance by 40%...been there done that....its a potential good gate for both clubs on a saturday although the earlier kick off will reduce the No's slightly but not as much as friday.......fridays a no no surely.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/argue.gif" alt="" />
