Apart from guessing correct score,size of crowd and balls out of the park;how about how long into the game the team lists are being announced.

I will go for 56 seconds at the Tilbury game.

I think it lasted at least 30 seconds into the game on saturday.... I thought the ref would have waited!!

What's the ruling on that?

Mind you the siren for our first goal was still going when they equalised on saturday.I am sure that put the defence off;they were not sure whether to run for cover or not.I am sure i heard Michael Collier shouting "DON'T PANIC" in the style of Corporal Jones.

Difficult sometimes to get the timing right :-) No rules on teams read out after kick off, but agreed I should time it better. All depends how early or late the teams come out as to how much time is spent on the pitch pre-ko. As for the siren, I got so excited with the goal I couldn't turn the damned thing off. A one off perhaps, not to be used again for a while methinks.

Announcers have been known to get things wrong occasionally - my favourite announcement was a few seasons ago - the exact words used were "we apologise for the lack of any programmes today. The printer broke down. Here are the team changes".
