...is bad for so many reasons. Can't remember being as pissed at a footie match since, errr... well, Arsenal away actually.

 

Feel gross this morning.

 

A few pointers...

 

  • Got into the ground after about five minutes of the game had already been played. Defoe scored in the seventh, so at least I saw that. Just about. Saw it properly on Sky Sports News this morning. The lad took it well. All this bollox about Spurs and a false new dawn. Okay, we haven't played well for a few games, but we're still fourth. Above Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd. I'll take that.
  • The Horn. Who was that twat on the door, and why on earth wouldn't he let us in? Actually, to be fair to him, it was the head barmaid. Jobsworth. We only wanted a drink on the way home, and instead we had to go to...
  • The Ice Bar. Why do I always end up in there on a Monday night? The DJ - has this bloke got a clue what he was doing? The place was buzzing while he was playing Duran, Erasure and Baltimora. Well, for 'buzzing' read 'me and Thornsy were dancing, but even so. No-one's interested in dancing round their handbags to the Ketchup Song or the Macarena on a Monday night. Just stick some FGTH or A-ha on.
  • The bird in the Ice Bar with the bracelets. What was her problem? I had two on, and wanted to go home with four. She had a shitload on her arm but didn't want to know about giving Hertfordshire's premier singer/songwriter one. Or a bracelet.
  • Only got one of the bracelets on now. The one Thornsy shoplifted for me on Tottenham High Road has lost all its elasticity already.
  • Have a feeling I was chatting to a couple of DKs on the platform at Kings Cross. A mother/daughter combination. It was only the mother that got on the train, but I informed her she was a MILF. From Luton, poor woman. Still - she was well chatty. Or maybe that was just me.
  • SteveP - couldn't listen to your voice message (I assume it was from you) because I had no credit on my phone, gyppo that I am. Had a good look for you at half time, but the state I was in, it was probably best I didn't find you! Wouldn't have blamed you for hiding from me, actually!
  • I haven't eaten since yesterday morning. Where is that [****!!****] food van?
  • Thornsy. An*ieM. Nice breasts!
