Stevenage

Good all round team performance tonight, well done lads. Ibe and Hallett carried on where they left off saturday, they got right at the Stevenage defence and gave as good as they got. Not sure how Bimson made that early clearance but very glad he did because that could have changed the course of the game. Minton was unlucky with his free-kick and i thought while they didn`t create many clear cut chances he and Sedgemore had a good game in midfield.

After going 1 down(i think Berquez enjoyed that!)the team showed great character to bounce back quickly and i don`t think any keeper would have got to Ibe`s shot. McKinney had to be at his best to keep out that close range shot but i think we deserved at least a point and could have got a winner towards the end.

Decent game and a well won point. Lovely goal by Ibe - I really do think he has made a huge difference to the team and is looking a fine player at this level.

Bimson had a really good game and I like the look of him. Shame he was injured before the end and sorry also to see Wardy go off injured so early too.

Why was Ollie given so much abuse tonight? I was sad to see that as I thought he did well for the club when he was at Canvey, scoring some good goals and helping us consolidate our position in the Conference last year. I was sad to see the reception Ollie got to be honest. He didn't leave under a cloud did he?

I didn`t mind the ref to be honest he was the same for both sides and at least he tried to let the game flow. Yes there was some "strong" tackles made that could on another day been straight red cards but at least he was consistent, the problem is the next game the ref could be totally different and dish out cards for next to nothing.

Well from what I seem to remember, it was reported that Ollie had agreed to sign a new deal with CIFC but a day or two later he signs with Stevenage.

Four games unbeaten eh? If we can get more than the lone clean sheet then the team will really start moving as we have only failed to score once this year in the season opener at Accrington. Good to see that we're coming from behind this year as well, I would just really love to see a watertight defence by the end of the season. KUTGW!

yes that is what was reported, we offered him a two year deal, to which he reportedly agreed, then Stevenage offered him a (presumably) better deal (they are of course full time). Listen to the interview with Jeff King on conferencefootball.tv where it is apparent Jeff was not best pleased !

Really good battling performance last night. We looked up for it right from the start and made it difficult for Stevenage to really create anything.

Thought Sedgy was outstanding. Rarely gave the ball away and tackled superbly. Mints also had a very strong game. Was unlucky with that free kick that hit the bar.

We had a 5 to 10 minute spelll where we looked all over the place but we kept our heads and got a great goal from Kezie.

Draw was about right. Game of very few chances and we limited Stevenage to very few chances. Richard made some good saves when called upon but will be in debt to Bimmo for that goal line clearance in the first half.

Jason and Kezie both had strong games and proved they can handle themselves when the going gets tough.
