I saw that as well, thought it was news of a signing at first, but then read it properly! I think we can get a result aganst any team on our day, we showed that last year, although we didn't have too many of those days! They will be up for it, we will be up for it, and maybe some fireworks if Berquez gets a start or comes on!!

We will need a disciplined performance, but the team knows that.

If the lads stay "switched on" dont see why we cant take something from this game.(hopefully a win).

As for Duffy going straight back into the side i'm not so sure. The only goals we've conceded in the last 3 games have been from our own defenders, so i'd be supprised if Jeff (or Glen if Jeff is still topping up his white bits) would want to upset the back four.

Slightly off topic...

 

I know he leads the enemy now, but your post (CANV) just reminded me of the time Stimmo and an opposing player got sent off for fighting on the pitch. Stimmo went first and waited for the other player in the door to the changing rooms for round two.

 

Wouldn't catch ponsey premiership players doing that. A bit of mud on their socks and the physio's on.

.got to agree shoulders.. a few 'extras' is what gets the crowd going..stimmo may be a scummer for us now but i'll never forget our f.a. cup first round tie that we switched to roots hall.. everyone expecting us to play the gutsy underdog and roll over.. then after about two minute stimmo clatters some c..t in blue and looks for some afters .. great stuff
