Dare I suggest the man is beginning to realise the amount of money involved in running a Conference club rather than a Ryman side and is looking for ways out?

Sounds like their Chairman needs to get 'real'.

 

I know that he has invested a vast amount of money in Grays Athletic, but that said the most important people at any football club has to be its supporters. He should remember you can't please all of the people all of the time, particularly when you are Chairman of a non-league club.

 

Nevertheless it looks like another potential Hornchurch situation to me.

Thank god our chairman doesn't react like this when someone questions the running of the club. We'd have our ship rocked so many times we'd go down quicker than the Titanic.

 

Grays need to learn lessons and quickly, we've been in this situation before and fortunatly learnt from the mistakes previous directors made.
