Give them a chance. I expect they'll be updated today which is the first working day since the game.

I don't suppose we have a board with "Enfield Town" on so they'll probably have to get one made specially. Perhaps we should get a generic "Pub Team" one made for these occasions.

Do you not play at Brimsdown Rovers Sports and Social Club?

If I looked that up in the Yellow Pages it'll be under public house and/or sports and social clubs

It's not brain surgery !!

Check out the EFTC forum actually, it's been a fun weekend <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I think you'll find that public houses and sports and social clubs are listed seperately. The fact that our landlords are a sports and social club does not make us a pub side. Banter is fine but try and show a bit of respect to a fellow non league club. We held a team two leagues higher to a 1-1 draw. We did not try and kick you off the field. It was physical but both teams played hard. We just about deserved the draw and will be looking forward to returning to your ground tomorrow evening. We will be massive underdogs now but the lads will be giving it there all and you just never know.

So what!! We don't have a reserve side (although this is being addressed) but do have a big squad. Players who are not getting a regular game might need/want to play on a Sunday. I accept we are two leagues lower and Conference sides pay more and won't let their players pay on Sunday mornings. When we get to that level we will do the same.

Mind you, your two centre halves are about Sunday league level!!!

How many pub teams have three full u19 internationals in there team, and 8 players that have played at Conference South level?

Ps..Only Towns 'reserve' players are allowed to play on a Sunday.

PPs.We currently groundshare with Brimsdown,BUT Enfield Town own the two main stands in the ground ,and these will be transfered to a new stadium of our own in the future.

If that's the way you think, St Albans are a park side.

Do you not play at Clarence Park?

If I looked that up in the Yellow Pages it'll be under Parks & Gardens.

As much a 'park side' as Aston Villa.

I can't understand how you lot, or the AFC Wimbledon lot can just ditch the side you've supported all your lives and start supporting a brand new team.

The whole point of being a football fan is supporting your team through thick and thin. And you all ditched Enfield when they were going through a bad patch.

Poor show.

The answer is football cannot be run on a franchised basis. A team should represent the area where it plays its home matches. Clearly Ware and Milton Keynes do not qualify as being representative of Enfield and Wimbledon.

And Brimsdown does???

You lot just can't afford the train fare to Ware.

And where exactly is this new ground that already has two stands (to be transferred from Brimsdown) going to be?????

In Enfield, I don't think so. There was a patch of prime real estate down your way a few years back just off Southbury Road that may of been ideal but I understand some sharp fellow decided to build house on it!
