Trouble at Grays

It's all rubbish too!! Rumour abounds that he wants out because of the high cost of funding the club at 30 grand a week and is using the fans as an excuse. They asked where the development fund money went to (supposedly 300 grand but Woodward denies it) and he threw a wobbler. He says in the NLP that the wage bill is eight grand a week and that's cobblers as well. Its well known that 5 players down there earn nearly that.

from their website.

"A Fans Open Evening will take place this Wednesday, 28th September 2005 at 8pm at Grays Athletic FC. All are welcome and all questions will be answered."

anyone up for it? everyone is welcome and they'll answer all of our questions.

i've always wanted to know whether pigs could look up into the sky and also whether dogs can say sausages like in that advert.

I wouldn't mind Gary Hooper, John Martin and Stuart Thurgood.

i would agree as i have upmost respect for him every time he pulled the urchin shirt on he gave 100%

but i was upset by the way he celebrated the goal against us at grays,i thought considering that the players(minus mr west)knew how the fans felt about what happened last november,he could of toned down the celebration a bit,it was if he was having a dig at us,i know players celebrate against old teams but i did think knowing the circumstances a couple of high fives may of been nicer, after all,he could of been playing for us then not grays!

i am not saying i wouldn't have him back,i just thought it was a bit over the top celebrating that goal,i don't even think the game was close at the time, and it wasn't even a close run thing in the title race at the time

i know a player has the right to celebrate any goal but our fans worshipped him and he knows that

Now westy, thats a different proposition entirely,i wish he would of scored and run over to us as i would have shouted obscenities and called him a thief(allegedley)

I understand where you're coming from re JM but I got to know him quite well at our gaff and there's not a hint of "retribution" in him.

I personally feel that he just celebrated scoring, end of...

Don't forget he did play for us in the Aftermath so to speak.

I do appreciate everyone has their view.

BTW Bridgey, good break mate? missed a diamond day!!
