Car stickers

Probably a post for Rockin' Richard. Heard that the price of car stickers, just into the shop were selling at £3 each. Having looked at at one find it incredible that they are being sold at this price. Surely a mis-calculation in price!

Nice to have these sought after items coming in but in this case surely you have it wrong?

Seems very steep in price I think for what you get. Dover sell at £1 and seem to be v.f.m.

Why the big price for our well thought out stickers but small and not v.f.m. ones.

Never the one to shy away from putting money into the club but with the stickers the price does seem excessive.

There are some problems. The cost is quite high but then you are getting a fair amount in the programme. I think that we need to get together in MISA and think of information that both home and away fans might like to know. This is nothing against Keith here. I know he works hard to make sure the programme is up to date. But maybe it wouldnt hurt for us all to discuss the programme as it is and think of ways to improve it. I know theres a meeting coming up and perhaps this could be on the agenda.

Sorry that you feel the car stickers are not value for money but because I did not want thousands of them the price at which we are buying them in is obviously reflected in the selling price. We are ever mindful of price and do look at various suppliers before we place an order and the supplier of these was the only one not quoting a long delivery date.

Sorry Richard but surely you saw these stickers and thought "we cant charge that amount". There is nothing to them. I know all about the mass production costs and all that but this needs addressing. People were expecting to pay around £1 or £1-50 max for these. There just isnt value there and it looks like there is too much profit trying to be made on these. Cut the profit margin and you will sell more. And in turn they will cost less to make. But most important of all people will have them on their cars to advertise the club more. Sort it out please. Cut the cost and I for one will buy one.Dont tell me they cost up to £2 to produce because its they didnt & that would be around the correct price on what you are selling them at.

I am not getting at Richards efforts in any way but merely stating something concerning one particular item. I have no qualms with Richard whatsoever concerning any other matter.I think Richard is a top man.

If I wish to talk in length in getting my point across I will. There is no need to be rude and condescending.

I accept your apology. Just remember though that we dont all think the same or have the same income. And to sell more at a lower more reasonable price will undoubtedly bring more sales which in turn will benefit the club shop and the club.

Maybe this is something that can be brought up at the MISA meeting as well as the programme and family tickets. I see a long list appearing at this gathering...

It cant hurt to explore the option of dropping the price if at all possible. Yes, Im sitting on the fence here but you both have a point.

I have noted all comments on this subject and taken them on board and will re-visit the pricing structure of this particular item and see if the selling price can be reduced and if so hopefully I will be able then to sell the existing stock and replenish from one of those other suppliers at a more favourable cost, despite the lead time!
