Today's Support

Was first class lads. It is a massive boost to hear you singing for the whole game. Your support is more important when things are not going our way and when things are tight than when we are cruising. You may not believe it by the result but you was a massive help today.

We lost to the better side and that finished a great run of form for us. We will pick ourselves up and hopefully set set off on another good run.

So on behalf of me and the team thanks again.

Jordan.

pinnacle,i know what you mean mate, they was just too good for us today, maybe if we would of not conceded after our penalty things may of been different but on the other hand they were a cut above us on the day

but lets not forget, while the fa cup was a nice distraction, the league is the important one and we have total faith in you boys and we know how good you lot are

we know we can win this league, but the f.a.cup can wait, you boys have never let us down, and you didn't today

Next saturday is a bigger game and i promise we will turn out(noise wise)next week coz you boys deserve it

it ain't you playing for us,or us singing for you, this is afc hornchurch, together,we will conquere

we know the players are good enough, and i hope the fans are as well

hhhmmm...4-1 flattered worthing and all of the goals were sloppy...in truth it wasn't our best performance this year but to be fair to worthing they had a good game plan and stopped us playing.... I thought the ref got it wrong when he didn't send their player off who gave away the penalty and if he does its a different game as worthing have to play 4 in midfield....but by and large they were too strong for us on the day....good clean game as well so well done all the players from both sides who played football throughout.....great effort from the players and the fans and another great FA Cup day out for us all...the 'rif raf' were on top form and so were the toffs from the riverside...

still top of the league and the FA Cup we shall win next year instead....

I've just looked at the video and their captain as Cable was not their last man but I believe it was a professional foul therefore ......red card?.

The support was awesome and loud (just listen to the videos). Great attendance considering all the glory hunters had their claret and blue shirts on and were watching the 'ammers.

We didn't do ourselves justice yesterday but never mind we can't perform every week.

Let's focus on the league and the Vase

P.S. nice touch captain coming on here to acknowledge the support

There were two pivotal points in the match.

The referee was wrong when he did not wave the red card at the player who conceded the penalty - it was their captain and he was outstanding - but he should not have remained on the pitch.

The second was the Danny Cowley shot which was stopped right on the line by the keeper when the score was 1-3 - just another couple of inches and it was in.

Urchins went to sleep when they conceded the equaliser - they were still thinking of their own goal. And the third goal, just after the interval, was down to poor defending.

I could not understand though why Nicky COwley was out on the left when he was much more effective when he came inside and dropped back when Sean Dear came on.

There was a pivotal point in our favour;the header that was scored by them but disallowed was not offside. The problem was that the lino was caught out by the quick free kick and was not watching the play.He was a dreadful lino,he kept changing the hand he was holding the flag according to whatever decision the ref made.At one point i thought he was signalling to a ship.

>>> the header that was scored by them but disallowed was not offside.

It was well offside from where we were - the flag went up well before the ball reached the centre of the goalmouth - and remember - the scorer of the offside header was the same player who should have been red carded only 3.5 minutes earlier.

And when is it offside ? - When the referee says it is.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Skipper. But we are the way we are because of you guys giving 100% week in week out. A few of the players have grabbed the headlines so far, but everyone has done their bit and choosing a man of the match must have been very difficult on a number of occasions this season.

Let's put this one behind us, and make sure Tilbury suffer the backlash next Saturday.

COME ON YOU URCHINS!

Good words Kel and thanks Jordan, you're a gem mate and of course all the FA Cup build up was just what we want to bring the crowds in.

Now we turn back to the league and let's hear the Riverside and Eastsides in full voice again, it was great stuff.

Also the GB Trophy in two weeks time, I believe the final is at Burnham, stand corrected if someone knows better.

What an incentive for you Beano boys, another trip to Crouchland.

Let's see yer!!
