Kiddy Harriers

Hempstead Gaz

Recommended Posts

With both Charlton and Gillingham away, and with the bad press this week about dull football in the higher echelons of football, let us hope for a really good crowd tomorrow. On the strength of of our recent good form, and the publicity surrounding the new ground, there is no reason why we shouldn't get 1400+ tomorrow, and see some great football.

Come on you REDS!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Er, given that Kiddy brought about 80-90 fans, and the home ends looked pretty much as full as they did last week, I was surprised it was over 1,000.

I suspect, with Forest Green likely to bring only a handful on Tuesday, the attendance will slip under 1,000 once more.

Just to rub salt in the wounds, Gills are at home as well.

Looking at some of our midweek home attendances from last year (e.g. 810 v Farnborough, 716 v Halifax), Harry's prediction may not be all that far off.

In case some of our brighter fans want to "discuss" FGR trying to have us kicked out of the Conference.

I'm sure there won't be any trouble - after all, they don't possess the numbskulls' pet hates of an Essex provenance and yellow strips.
