The stadium post set me dreaming. Its july 2012 Brazil are just walking into the reception of our hotel to book in for there stay over the duration of the olympics. Within an hour of arrival they have changed and are know running out onto our pitch to start there 1st training session. 3 days later they kick off there 1st practice game to a capacity 5,000 crowd against the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE. May be a dreaming but we beat them. The point is all this is know possible with our new developement. Long live the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

Yes,but why should it only be a dream.As a kid i can remember Germany staying at one of our local hotels"the peverill of the peak" as they played the league games for the 66 world cup. Germany trained on Ashbourne rec and we kids watched. What a boost a team staying would be for the club and area. Any way we WILL be a league team by then.I believe this is the level of ambition the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE should have. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />

BB -i think you make a very valid post.

 

A bit of proper marketing and this deal could be secured.

Marketing packs to all the fotball associations.

What times the first plane to Brazil.

 

Hockey tems etc.

 

They will all want training facilities,and will start coming over from 2007 onwards in preparation
