Can't look past Federer to win his matches.

 

I'm presuming these are best of 3 sets so Andrew "The Real Deal" Murray should be able to last the duration of his matches.

Funny you should say that as I've just been looking on the Davis Cup website and shall be following from 11am on BBC tomorrow.

 

They are best of 5 sets mate so the real deal may get tired.

 

Clever tactics by Jeremey Bates, I predict this will be won by the doubles match and Alan Mackin.

 

Federer playes Mackin (world number 262) and Murray in his singles, you'd expect him to win both games giving the Swiss a 2-0 advantage already.

In the doubles it's Greg and Murray against Federer and Allegro, now Allegro is a half decent doubles player (30 in the world) but crap singles (1101 in world), playing against two decent singles even with the world number 1 with him may be a tad tricky.

 

Murray and Mackin they both play Wawrinka in the other two games, Wawrinka is world number 60 so you'd expect Murray to see him off so it all comes down the last game Wawrinka v Mackin (if we've managed to get it to 2-2 at the time) which seems a bit odd as Wawrinka has had a good season on clay whereas Mackin hasn't really although it may be his prefered surface.

Sherwood is also in the squad and hasn't got a game, I don't know the rules governing changing players about (i.e could Greg play the last game)

Looks like the real thing is getting a pounding, 3-2 seems an overly optomistic prediction.

Bit unlucky was the real deal should of sown up the 2nd set.

 

Mackin v Federer was the biggest mismatch I've ever seen in my life!
