I must say the drums are a big plus for the club for various reasons:-

 

The Away supporters hate them (check-out the Woking forum, it's a quality read he..he)

They prompt a more vocal support both home and away

The numbers in the bus shelter are growing with new youngsters getting involved

The players have all said it makes a difference

And they drown out Fred's Bugle....only kidding.

 

I think Glen,Gary and Mark etc. have done brilliant since the latter part of last season and we are now up to five of the beasts with MOB's Bigun on it's way.

My other half reckons that the YELLOW ARMY is UNIQUE.

Nobody else comes even close.

Have to agree. me and my mates love the atmosphere

that you guys create.

strangely enough we think its even better when we are away.

How often have the supporters from the other side been drowned out by the YELLOW ARMY?

As i said before, keep it up, it encourages me to join in.

It's Official.........Stockbroker's don't like drums!


What buying them or listening to them??

We must remember that the Woking fans may have a serious point in wanting to ban drums.
They may get a noise pollution abatement notice delivered by the council for disturbing the neighbours - their not used to having any noise coming from the ground <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Was standing next to Canveyboy18 in the first half Tuesday night and did join in with the vocals. Joined in during the second half as well - but so did many others and it was a good night and certainly created the atmosphere. Good team performance helped as well.

 

However, I prefer to stand in my regular spot come wind and high weather at the Lane - but it will be great hearing the noise - if they get the bigger drum there won't be enough room for anybody to stand in the shelter anyway <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
