Currently one nil down just before half time, but Chesham are down to ten men following a dangerous two footed tackle on Leigh Mason which he was lucky not to come away with any serious damage from.

Five minutes left and we're winning 6-1. Jon Wilson was brought down in the area and Leigh Mason converted the penalty, followed by a Mark West hat-trick, Leigh Mason again and then a Seedel goal.

Decent match. Turning point was the sending off. Awful challenge that rightly deserved a red despite a few Chesham players moaning as they did all night.

 

Good and suprising to see Leigh Mason back. Did not look 100% sharp, but that's only to be expected and to get 90 minutes under his belt will do him the power of good. I'm hopeful he will be on the bench Saturday.

 

The trialist who played at Brackley in the first-half, Mark Kwiatowski came on as sub and played right wing and set up two goals.

 

They had Alan Foster in goal for them, who was actually a good laugh. Good to see Westy banging in a hat-trick though including a great diving header - brings back memories.

 

Back three at one stage was Braich, Bizzu and Paget!

Awesome evening's entertainment. It doesn't get better than the Capital League.

 

Alan Foster is my new hero. After their No 4 was sent off for trying to mutate Mason, he was the only one on their team who seemed to understand football law as he stated quite clearly that the ref had made the right decision. He then asked the linesman how long was left, to which the lino replied 'ask the ref, how do I know'. Foster then replied 'I thought you were referee's assistants now'. Loved it!!! Also he and Westy had some good banter throughout the match.

 

Marek (insert silly sounding name here) looked promising and there were other good performances from Rav, Kassim, Paget and Seedy although I thought Shep looked a bit off the pace. Also great to see 'super' Leigh Mason back.

 

Informed at the end that Rav has a 35 day ban coming up following his sending off at Farnboro.

i would love to but 1, im a tax dogging student so i barely have enought o get and watch the 1st team play let alone the reserves, 2, i have no way of getting there and 3, i dnt have a clue how to use a cam corder

Wish I had come along - however William managed to fall off the school bus and spent the evening in A&E. Only a couple of bruises and he will live!

 

Looks like we now have enough decent reserves should we have a spell of injuries or suspensions.
