very true, however that run came about after return of Greeney, we were midtable going no where, Byron resigned Dennis teamed him up with Chuck and we got promoted. Pre-season Byron released Greeney, result = sixteen defeats out of the first seventeen games of the following season!

 

End of day Greeney did a very good job at Windsor - mistake for him to leave for Maidenhead yes, he probably admits that. But he left us in better shape than when he joined. Lets just move on and remember Greeney for the good things he did for the club 100 odd goals our best ever FA Trophy run and a promotion. Outspoken with his comments yes - but that was Greeney funny how everyone loved those comments when he was a player, a mistake to make them as a manager - probably, but first spell as a manager, guess everyone would make mistakes. Lets just move on and stop going back to Greeney - Woody your worst culprit, why bring it all up again, its over, lets focus on Dave Carroll - leave the Greeney baiting to the Maidenhead fans.

Not sure about that, we were mid-table mainly due to injuries and the terrible wet weather that season. Yes den did contribute, but he was a bit-part player. Chuck was awesome that season but so was Bunting. The team had everything and a togetherness not seen since.

 

Wasn't the argument other Dennis not attending trainning? Den did experience that season, but he didn't exactly set the world alight the season after did he? As for the Trophy run, yeah it was the dog's, but it was also a waisted opportunity and highlighted the limits of dens man-management skills, and he blew the title too.

 

Den and fergie did boost the fruit-machine takings though!

Two thirds of you voting for Dennis, unbelievable!

 

He couldn't even manage a runners-up spot with the biggest check-book handed to any Windsor manager ever ever ever. Why on earth is getting the nod over byron?
