Thanks to all of those that turned up yesterday and donated to mayor's charities,We had a great day that brought back lots of memories for all of us.Cocker's showed what a great player he used to be and Clarky can still nick a goal,Christ even I got one.Final score was 6-1.

Thanks for an excellent afternoon's entertainment. I was a bit disappointed with the turn out at the kick off, but the crowd seemed to pick up in the second half.

 

Any chance of making this a regular event?

We did mention to Malcolm after the game about trying to make it a regular event or even two or three times a year and play under the banner of St Albans Vets,But of course we need to agree this with Mr Gibson and his Board of Director's first.

Just getting the chance to pull on that old yellow shirt again was a privilege.

Although we are not as quick as we used to be,I still think we can play a bit <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
