"Much has been said about leaving CP but, quite simply, it has to happen if the Club is to move forward and gain promotions. Our current earning potential is severly limited by the constraints of the park"

obviously the writer was unaware of the 5000 or so he could have got down the park if the charity game was advertised a bit better

Err. Very illuminating, Webbo.

What is the "Much that has been said about leaving Clarence Park...."? Where was it said? When? By whom?

Next. "Our current earning potential is severly limited by the constraints of the park".

Hmmnn. Whoever wrote that can't have had attendances in mind. The capacity of t'Park is over 4500 and we have an average gate well below one tenth of that.

So that's it, is it Webbo? Where does it say that we will be moving? Where to? When? What will the new facility comprise? How will it be run? Who will deal with the administration? What will we be doing in the meanwhile?

Please make a note to let me know if we relocate, Webbo. I wouldn't want to get to Clarence Park on Saturday week to see a notice on the gate with directions to the new ground.

I wont dignify your second point by giving it any response.

heheheblOOdyhe.

Do you read much, Webbo? Have you read 'Watership Down'? About the rabbits?

In the second and third chapters, the displaced group led by Hazel and Fiver come to a second warren. The rabbits there are plump, well-fed by the man what owns the farm on which the burrow is sited. They act like tame rabbits, feeding in the sunshine etc with no thought of their own safety as the farmer looks after them, shooting passing foxes etc.

The travelling bunch rest there for a few days and then, one of the fat rabbits from the new burrow is caught in a trap set by the farmer.

Fiver, having been uncomfortable since his arrival, immediately sees that the warren is run by the farmer to produce rabbits to kill and sell or eat. The travelling band then turn to the their hosts and say "Oi! You stupid fat rabbits. Can't you see that its all an illusion? You are being kept here and grown to line the pockets of that farmer. Come with us now. We have to get out of here and save ourselves from a fate as bad as death. Come on now."

The fat rabbits turn to the travellers and say "You should have seen Matt 'Matty' Hann's goal on Saturday, Fiver. Top 6 by Christmas, Champions by Easter. Its good here."

How do you rate this team compared to one managed by mitch?

Very difficult to say, Maldini. This team is really still in it's infancy and has a way to go yet but it does have the potential to be as good as, or even better. Only time will tell, I guess. As far as Mitch and Colin are concerned, I couldn't split them and wouldn't want to. Both have excellent records and superb man management skills.

As an aside, in the Inter-the-Net section in last Saturday's Dorchester programme it stated that Steve Clarke is the runaway leader at the top of the goal scoring charts this season. He's certainly wearing well, I'll give him that.

Look forward to seeing you again, tomorrow night.
