Look on the bright side when reading how the game has gone,its a point gained when it looked a lost cause,loads of time yet cast your minds back to January and Feb,its not bad at all is it.

End of last season we couldn't get a draw for love nor money - this season they're getting a bit repetitive! Hampton and Richmond haven't had a draw all season - any bets on the result when they come to HDP on 8th October?

But 9 points from 8 games. That's only just clear of relegation form.

If I was a Margate fan I'd be pleased with the early results considering the pre-season build up and the generally strong opposition played so far. I would be looking to turn a few of these draws into wins and a play-off place at least, so I would have thought it was encouraging form.

I think most of us probably just about feel the same, but we were talking similarly after 4 games, and here we are 8 games laTER SAYING THE SAME THING.

 

wILL WE ALSO stil be SAYing the same after (sorry for caps) 42 games.

 

We said the same at this stage last year and look what happened -we would have gone down despite the points deduction.

 

No doubt we will improve -but so will others !!

 

We have injuries -but so do others.!!

 

Having said that, i do genuinely feel this season that we will improve and become upper mid-table-i don't think play-offs are quite feasible.I do think CK has assembled a decent squad.

Personally i am hoping a great cup run occurs this season in FA Cup and Trophy
