Booze / Dry (if working stright after) Train to Enfeild Town

Recommended Posts

What sort of time do people want to get there and leave St.Albans????

Looking at maps/national rail enquirys the quickest way would be St.Albans - West Hampstead, West Hampstead - Hackney Central on Silverlink then Hackney Downs - Brimsdown but I wouldn't recommend going on my line in the rush hour as it's like hell on earth, so I'm imagining that into Kings X then Victoria Line to Tottenham Hale and then picking up the Brimsdown line there!

Views?

And tonight I'll post definate times!

Hi Thornsy.

I've sometimes pictured you in the music industry. Entertainment. T.V. Radio. Rubbing shoulders with everyone from Pete Docherty to Natasha Kaplinsky to Euan MacGregor. These musos and luvvies. In some guise or another.

Having read that post, however, the picture is destroyed. You were born to be an Executive in charge of a train company.

You're an anorak!

i'm off all day anyway so I'll be with you.

That way you say is very long winded as the train from Liverpool Street stops at Tottenham Hale anyway so it's a bit daft to continue going south just to come back on yourself.

If they instal first class on silverlink by Fri then that way would be the quickest by miles becauae you don't even enter central london

I'm tempted to join you guys seeing as it's quite an easy journey for me. If I do go I'll meet you at Liverpool Street. I have to work till 5 but can be at Liverpool Street by 6 as I work 5 minutes from Southend Victoria station.

Depends if you are going to be getting off at Tottenham Hale.

No probs, I could meet you there. Really want to find out for myself what all the fuss about the mighty Saints is about.

Will let you know if I decide to go.

In all seriousness I'm very tempted to go especially as it's unlikely I'll be able to get to St Albans before the end of the year. Expect I'll decide tomorrow morning.
