The Cat at Bromley

Whilst exiting Hayes Lane with Lord Pay of Sutton-at-Hone this evening, I noticed a black and white cat. Quite clearly being black & white it must have been the Bromley cat. A Margate cat would have been blue & white in colour and a Ramsgate cat would have been red & white. A Stevenage cat would have had similar colours.

A Bromley FC official said that the cat was called Raven and lives inside the ground. It has adopted Hayes Lane after having lived in the stables next door.

This got me thinking. What other cats live in non-league grounds?

Now this cat it was very clever it left the stand half way through the second half and cane down our end. The steward said this was a sign that margate would score. We did. Next it moved even nearer our fans and that is a sign of another goal according to the steward. Clever cat eh. It lives under the stand. Perhaps it could tell us when we might win a game and break our drawing sequence. Maybe we could kidnap it and use it at hartsdown. Apparently it really lives on rodents not ravens! Pretty little thing it was.

Glad I did not see it as I collect cats like other people do stamps. But I think that even zhukov's generous spirit would be strained by me wanting another one!

Cats are however extremely intelligent, and very aware of people's moods. Perhaps he was just moving to where he felt help was most needed on the night!

It changes from a nice black pussey cat to an Unpleasant plucker.
