Why are people saying that no site has been mentioned? It's where Lafarge are. If you come from Gravesend town going towards the ground get to the end of London Road and the two chimmy stacks on your right, thats where it is.

Does anyone know if the site of the former Southfields school is being used for anything?

It's pretty ideal in terms of motorway access and is a pretty big space.

Probably non viable for many reasons unknown to me though.

The first mention of our new ground was in reply to two old ladies and some bloke who lived in the area and were concerned about the amount of dust the stacks were letting out.

 

The two of them and one other bloke rambled on for ages and Burden said himself 'the whole site will be developed including a new stadium for Gravesend and Northfleet.

well reading in the reporter, the paper think they have got the stadium for the club not brian and the directors and fans, i dont think so. next thing they will want is it to be called the reporter stadium!

yes ok they helped alot with articles in the paper but i think there going over the top with the front page article with lots of words in CAPITALS.
