just seeing how our Jamie's getting on?

 

3 seasons ago he burst onto the scene and scored some wonderful goals. he won players, managers and supporters player of the year before being stuck with that illness.

 

he still looks terribly unfit for a pro to me, but I would love to hear what you Town fans think of his performances for you.

 

Is he doing the biz?

When he started he did look a little lost on the field to begin with, but after his performance on saturday at margate i have big hopes for the lad.

Let's just point out we implemented him as a left winger/wingback to begin with. He has looked a lot more at home upfront and is getting better with each game.

yeah, there is no way he is a wing back! thats bollax from your manager! hes a striker, out and out. hes quick and can finish. your gaffer's having one playing him wingback!

I think Eddie originally tried to keep the Hodges, Seedel partnership and find a hole for Brookes to fill at wing-back but as you say we soon found out that he's wasted there.

 

Does anybody know why Brookes didn't feature on Saturday? is he still injured?

i heard people saying he was being treated by oxford for his injury which he picked up last weekend?

all links about his loan move state that he is a striker on loan to us and i aint seen him play there and with his talent that he has shown could prove vital in this seasons campaign

He played up front at Margate and looked ok (probably should have scored) although certainly isn;t a winger.
