I'd be surprised if Woodruffe didn't stay now given he played in the FA Cup. Will be interesting to see what they do with Brooks as well. His last game of the original loan agreement was Saturday.

Given that Brooks went off with what looked like a hamstring injury I would be slightly surprised if he stayed on beyond the month. He looked much better playing as an out and out striker though.

Brooks pulled his hamstring but is ok. I can see Oxford letting stay at Slough for another month. He is improving all the time with you lot.

I hope so, he looked superb yesterday and, as you said, has been improving since his stay here.

I've been to watch him twice - at Hampton and against Redbridge. As you probably saw, he is no wingback, but played in position he is a fantastic player but just needs to get match fit. If he stays for another month he will get you a good few goals.

 

While i'm on, i must comment on a few of your players. You no 7 (no idea who he is) is rather good and Seedel looked useful.

 

Oh and that ;referee' at Hampton was hillarious!

Our number seven is a hero. Talk of him retiring over the summer has gladly passed over and he's stayed on again. Darron Wilkinson typifies how the game should be played. Full heartedly.

Indeed Wilko a true living legend. Brooks had easily his best game for the Rebels on Saturday and it would be good if he stayed longer to bolster our squad at the very least. Hope the injury was not too serious.

His hamstring is a little sore but he's been playing with a bruised ankle and bad blisters and just recovered from a hip op so he'll be ok (may miss tomorrow). He's a very tough lad! He will always give 100%

 

I know one player not a team maketh but 'Wilko' would be a sore loss. (Forgive me but i didnt buy a programe but) the young lad who replaced Brooksy at Hampton looked like he had an idea!
