Hereford......

Recommended Posts

We have a mini bus which is alomst full and I expect others to travel up by car so should get 30-40 hopefully.

With a bit of luck the Daish out brigade will stay away (again) but me and Jimmy both have our banners ready and are on standby from King Carlos.

Looking at Hereford they say their strike force is all unfit and the one they have is crap. I don't expect an upset so we should take all three points and move above them in the table.

I expect our (alegded) summer transfer target, Beckwith, to play but will be rather cautious as he is already on four bookings. I've never seen him play but with the way our two at the back are playing I wouldn't swap them for anyone.

I think the team will be Holloway, Skinner, R Smith, McCarthy, Protheroe, Slatter, Bowry, Saunders, Jackson, Drury, Macdonald which is unchaged from the 4-0 win over Halifax. Bench: Kerr, Surey, Omoyinmi, J Smith, Grant/Sodje. I think we may appeal for Sodje but am not to sure which way it will go.

Hereford have injury worries and infact could only name four subs for their 1-0 win over Morecambe on Saturday.

Could this be the game where people finally see us as serious play off contenders?

For anyone going see you there.

Cheers,

Harry J

Agree with the team Harry, but I reckon the club won't contest the Sodge red card. Truth is, it was a horrid challenge. He was lucky it wasn't a leg breaker. I for one was glad when the Fax defender got up and carried on.

We do not need to play like that, we can win games without resorting to lungeing, studs up, two footed challenges deep in the opponents half when they were going nowhere and we were bossing the game 3-0.

Call it youthful enthusiam, or a typical Sodge tackle, we don't need tackles like that..

In any case, the relatively poor quality of Conference TV footage means appeals at our level are rarely going to work. A waste of £500 really.

Keep it quiet, Harry - we don't want opposition teams thinking we're any good, surely? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
