8 weeks ago everything was going wrong with Jukebox. Bad body language, lack of interest, not guaranteed a starting place, and a request for transfer.

I do not wish to know what has gone on between then and now with Andy and liam, but, boy, has it worked! I can see a really potent partnership developing between Andy and Charlie. Both different types of player, but complemeting each other superbly.

Whether Andy is trying extra hard for potential buyers in January, or whether he is working harder for Liam - we will not know until next year, but long may this continue.

If Andy does withdraw his request, then moving Andy up front will be brilliant management by Liam , something that Andy ford was reluctant to try.

I hope this pair continue to prosper - Charlie looks like he could be our elusive 20 goal striker, whilst Jukebox can only get better now he can express himself up front without having to worry too much about wing play or defensive duties.

NLP gave him 8/10,star player and in the team of the week.

yeh I agree, with McDonald and Drury up front we always have more chances, they work well together

Andy still looks somewhat casual at times though.

I prefer the word languid, Alan. Silky skills and close ball control are things that cannot be taught. Some players thrive on hard word, some make it look easy. Andy fall into the latter category.

I would stress that Andy also worked his socks off on Saturday, epitomised by the challenge he made in front of the Trust hut on about 80 mins. Running back fully 30 yards from inside right to a right wing back then make a really clean, solid tackle to stop a Halifax attack before it could develop.

....as did Chris Waddle....but he weren't bad.....couldn't take a penalty as well as Drury though !!!
