Yesterday at Tilbury

Overall I can't believe Tilbury beat us 4-1. We had most of the play even after we went down to 10 men. A deflected goal, one 2 yards offisde (a Tilbury fan told me that by the way) and a 30 yard cross that went in (the player said it was a cross). Every time we tackled a Tilbury player they went down like they had been shot. The Tilbury cente forward used his 3 foot elbows very well. How he never got sent off for 5/6 deliberate elbows I don't know. For a team with some money and promotion chasers I wasn't impressed. I thought they were on a par with Romford. But at the end of the day they scored and we didn't. After our player got sent off for all I can describe as stupid we never really had a chance. I must also say after I praised the officials in the first few games the lino and ref yesterday were crap. If I was been cynical I would ask how much they were paid. Bias is an under statement. Spoke to his 'mates' on the Tilbury bench all the time. Our kit man ran the other line and he was the best of the three. Didn't make any bad decisions and gave our players offside when we were gonna score so he didn't cheat. Too be honest its 4/5 games into the season and already the officials are being criticised. God knows how we'll feel in 2 months time!

i know its typical to say but i thought we deserved a point. however they create chance after chance and just always take them! they have goals all over the park and the best strike force around.
