as (CAPITAL A) i (CAPITAL I) have watched slough (CAPITAL S) longer than most of you boys have been alive (COMMA) i (CAPITAL I) feel qualified to know a good player when i (CAPITAL I)see one , (SPACE?)and i (CAPITAL I) have been very vocal about it since mr(MR) metcalfe (Metcalfe) returned back to us , (FLOATING COMMA??)yes his foot ball (FOOTBALL IS ONE WORD!)has been out standing (OUTSTANDING IS ALSO ONE WORD)unfotunateley (UNFORTUNATELY)it (IT OR HE?)should be more involved and more skillfull (SKILLFUL)and since he has no pace and you sheep seem to believe that he has a footballing brain (COMMA) then he should be able to make up for thatby (THAT BY)thinking about what he is doing ,(FLOATING COMMA)in many of the number of criticismsaround (CRITICISMS AROUND) the ground i (CAPITAL I) have heard he does not do this , (FLOATING COMMA)in fact the amount of times he runs away from battle (THIS SENTENCE MAKES NO SENSE) if he was in the armed forces he would be shot for cowardice in (THE?)face of the enemie (ENEMY) , (FLOATING COMMA)if you cannot see this then i (CAPITAL I)suggest you watch more closely the next game you attend. ps (P.S)there is nothing wrong with my spelling (COMMA) perhaps it's just your understanding nathan. Nope, a floating is comma is one where you leave a space either side of it, which is of course totally incorrect in any word processed document (Bows) Hows your Sunday league side getting on Mal? I think mine has had to start the season without any strikers as our top scorer has gone semi-pro I belive and im still recovering from a buggered medial!

Sunday side is not doing too bad.

Lost first game on Sunday 3-2 but should have at least drawn it.

Not bad though considering we played first 15 minutes with 9 men due to a car full of players having a blow out on the motorway.

No there is a difference between people voting for who is best, and a vote for who is "[****!!****]" To get 25% of a vote for best player when there are 15 vying for it is a superb statistic, i would imagine there is another 25% who would have had him second and voted for other people who just edged it.

There seems to be a concerted effort by some supporters to make Christian the scapegoat for everything that goes wrong at present. Furthermore, it seems to be a group of older supporters who you would have thought would be more rational and judge players by what they do in each game rather than deciding before the kick-off that they're going to look for everything bad that happens.

I'll criticise players on here occasionally but during the game it is counterproductive to do anything other than support all the players. Apparently, last night Roy Merryweather was approached by people at half time having a go at Alexis and Metcalfe. For a start, why approach Roy and secondly, neither of those players was worse than anyone else in the first half so why pick on them? Preconceived bias, that's why.

I wonder if those same fans will now put their names on here and admit that Alexis and Metcalfe were two of our best players during the second half? Of course they won't. They'll just keep quiet until such times they get an opportunity to criticise one stray pass or one missed tackle etc. Great encouragement to the team that'll be.

In many ways we have some of the best supporters at this level of football but in others we also have some of the worst. I'd like to think they are ashamed of themselves but suspect they think they know better.
