who the hell told mets he was in charge of what the team did on the pitch , i watched him today and he was full of it, telling other players to do what he himself should have been doing , the few times he got in the way of the ball (he generally managed to keep out of the way of it) he either gave the ball away ,or totally cocked up the pass, i'm not going to blow the sunshine up his backside like some of the sheep in this outfit ,becausehe is keeping out of the team players with more heart ,skill and bravery than he has ever shown while i,ve ever seen him wear a slough town shirt,i,m telling it as i see it, and it's upto him to prove me wrong where it matters out on the pitch doing the job he is idolised for. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Christian has been outstanding so far this season (obviously there are many sheep in this outfit as we voted him player of the month) In fact i dont think i need to defend Mets, his footbal is doing all the talking at the moment.

Metcalfe has had an ourstanding start to the season... this cowardly anon clearly hasn't seen him play much. His presence, passing and tackling have all vastly improved since last season.

If the season ended tomoz i would be utterly amazed if he did not get player of the season- he would def get mine- also when Wilko went off it was mets job to boss the midfield!

IMO Mets has only had a handful of average games since Christmas, he has been superb in the rest.

 

When Mets is playing well the team play well, an essential cog in the works who often goes un-noticed.
