Top drawer Rob and Dagsy, nice pitch at the Crouch, although I've been there a few times, the best it's been.

No home support though, they deserve better, wonder if the ground should be signposted from the Maldon Road, cost me 30 seconds!

Well deserved win and Batman and Robin scored again, I call em that cos they attack like a good pairing should.

Well done to the Barmy Army as well, I had a drink with Inter City Urchin on arriving there, glad they opened up the hall, weren't ready for us though but did their best and all was well in the end.

Nice sing song as well, the ESL clubs will all be expecting that now.

Set up at Burnham was very good - only problem was the poor standard of the team announcements - Burnham had squad numbers, but the person who called the teams out over the tannoy read them out far too fast and did not mention the numbers at all. What can't the teams in this league simply post a team sheet on the wall?

 

No announcements of scorers either.

 

The ground was only signposted from the B1018 as far as I could tell.

 

And where were the home supporters ? - Possibly on the Crouch waiting for the boat race to finish. (It started at 1 pm - no idea when it was due to finish, but the tide was going out rapidly when I left).

The goal scorer was corrected with the league and media this morning. Sadly unless scorers are announced via a PA there is no way to know if mistakes have ocurred.
