Snooker Last Night

It wasn't quite Slough - it was some small village just outside of Slough whose name I can't remember, but a very nice club they have there. Not as good facility-wise as ours, and they've only got about six tables, but they've spent a lot of money making it look really nice.

 

Anyway, we were down to a four-man team after the sad news about Fred (he passed away Wednesday night, Gertch), Gertcha's withdrawal for the bikini bar (how was it!!?) and Phil's refusal to even consider Archie these days!

 

So we were 0-1 down before we even started.

 

Shouldn't have worried, though. They were pretty poor, and we wound up 4-1 winners. I won my match 3-1 without too much struggle. Phil got a 103 break. We all stopped our games to watch once he got to 60-odd points.

Still, great result for you and good to hear Phil got a century. Any notable breaks for yourself.

 

I had a quality night, gawping at a load of stunning birds, whilst drinking free lager.

 

Struggling a bit today, it's been a real heavy week - out every night so far, and I'm supposed to be out again tonight !

No, not as AB73 we aren't. Might get up for a song with one of the other bands. Depends how long I last really.
