Very, very good Rob. "What one?". Couldn't see. Shortsighted. Specsavers ad. Excellent. A joke. It was too subtle for me first time around.

 

I'm reminded of a time when I had to take the youngster to the clinic thing for a hearing test during school hours. No problemo. When I returned him to school, I reminded him that when he went into the classroom, he should apologise to the teacher and explain that he was late as he had been for a hearing test.

 

I suggested that when she said "Is everything allright?", he should respond "Pardon?".

 

The best of it is, that is exactly what happened and he replied in that fashion.

 

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. [Apart from sycamore seeds, of course.].
