How bizarre that after my earlier query, about whether 17 would be 16 minutes something, or 17 minutes something - I should actually win!

 

The weird thing - I was at the game, and started my stopwatch as the whiste went, and I'm pretty sure the goal was scored at 15 minutes something i.e. the 16th minute. I actually remember commenting to somebody about how close I was to winning.

 

So who decides the official time for the goals?

I asked someone and they said 15 mins something but Simon asked and was told 17 minutes. I had the ticket for 16 minutes. I think we need a better time keeper.

I agree am never sure what the "offical" timings are, could they please be posted somewhere if not on here before/at the following game? Or if Gazza would be kind enough to tell us on his speaker/shout (am never sure if he uses a microphone!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

I'm sorry Gazza, I thought I was asking for something quite reasonable, it stands to reason that if there is a competition the results should be given! I'm sorry if you didn't like the joke about the microphone, it was a joke though and no offense was meant.

Offence was taken but now forgotten. Sometimes mate you need to appreciate some of us do our best fr the club, all be it we are not professionals...much as we like to be...same applies to your opinion re. the players. They do have feelings and do get offended.

 

...by the way...if this don't make sense, it's the fault of that nice Mr. Daniels.
