Any chance of a lift on the minibus. I & a few mates live the western side of Enfield and plan on having a few bevies next Friday. You can pick us up from the Forty Hill area around 7pm. We won't need a lift back, we''l just stagger.

OK peeps, had a quote of £110 for a midi-coach for up to 16 people. It may be more when I give them the exact details but I doubt it would be more than £10 a head.

 

Can anyone interested send me a PM or email rob@sacfc.co.uk so I can get an idea of numbers and start to get it organised.

Just a thought ....and it will have to be confirmed by Steve Eames .... didn't the club aquire its own mini bus last year for transporting the accadeny players to away games from the funding they receive for running the course ?

 

If so .... is it possble for the club to arrange to use this, only needs a driver and a fiver each would more than cover the petrol / deisel and provide a small profit for the club.

Mini bus has to be hired for a min of 3 days.

 

15 seater £280, 17 seater £310 so you are looking at £20 each.

 

Do you know if the club has its on mini bus as mentioned in my previous post.

If so lets use it, you would need a driver whichever option was chosen, charge all on board a tenner and make the club some money.

Good idea Caretaker. If the club has a minibus they might as well let the supporters use it to give the team the 'added support' and the club makes some money to.

Could a deal not be set up with a local school to "hire" a mini bus from them on a saturday? I know several st albans schools have a mini bus, and unless they are using it for netball/hockey/football trips on a saturday - perhaps we could strike a deal with them for the use of the day - however insurance restrictions could be an issue here?

I think you will find that Ian Bangs in the Supporters Club Committee member with the Transportation Portfolio. From the matchday programme, I seem to recall that his Numereaux Deux is Knocky.

If this bus exists ..... and it is an if at the moment, surely someone must know......it would seem silly not come up with some sort of rota system for its use as if it is for the accademy boys it will only be in use on a Wednesday on average once every two weeks.

 

As I said it could be a regular thing and a way of generating a small amount of income for the club which cant be a bad thing.

Memo to Caretaker. The Club receives no funding for the College scheme it all goes to the college. We also do not own a minibus, we have use of a college one to take the lads to matches.
