I find myself providing a taxi service to/from Southampton at 1.00 pm & 10.00 pm on Saturday, so with all that time to kill thought I might pop along the coast a bit ......

Not staying .....just dropping / picking up my son at his training for Great Britains Under 19 Underwater Hockey team.

 

Starts at 2.00 and finishes at 10.00 so I've got 8 hours to kill .... a day in the sunshine watching the mighty Saints and a couple of "shandys" seems a good option.

Unfortunately not a great spectator sport unless you are at one of the major pools with vision panels below the water line (think theres only two in this country) or at the World Championships where it is filmed and played on large screens around the pool........

 

..............but if you fancy a quick look it is played on Wednesday 9-10 pm, Thursday 8-8.30 pm (for beginers) and Sunday 9-10 pm (this is the best session) all at Westminster Lodge.
