Greetings from Enfield Town...

...we were all delighted to be drawn against you fellas in the FA Cup, been a long time since we last met (as supporters anyway; this is the first time our two clubs have ever met).

I think you'll quite enjoy visiting our club, we have a decent sized bar just outside the ground with beer of tap which I'm sure you'll make the most of. Plus we have adeqaute food services - our sandwiches are top notch for only 50p!

Our stadium is neat and tidy, albeit small; bear in mind it was seriously just a park pitch about 3 season's ago. We have a covered end behind one goal for about 300 supporters, another smaller stand on the side of the pitch for about 100 supporters, and on the opposite side of the pitch is a 150 seater stand, plus we obviously have concreted walkways all round the pitch, so if it's a decent day you can stand where you want.

We definitely hope to see you down here, like I said, the last time most of us would remember seeing you was when Enfield FC were in the Ryman Premier. Good old days.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Sorry Freebird, this is a thread for clubs still involved in the FA Cup.

And yes, it will never be Southbury Road because nobody plans to build a Cinema and houses on it.

For the City fans laughing, before ETFC came along, only the small covered terrace existed (but was not usable because it was in such a bad state), there was only concrete walkways down one side, the pitch was awful, and there was no perimeter fencing. It's taken us 4 years to make the ground look like this. Clarence Park is hardly the thing dreams are made of.

Laugh at us at your own peril, we have every intention of progressing to the next round.

Don't confuse good-hearted banter with anything else, Robson.

The Mighty Saints were suspended from the League and on the brink of extinction in 2001 due to the actions of a former Chairman and we wouldn't wish that on anybody. I think you will find a lot of sympathy and admiration in appropriate measure for the fans of both Enfield and Enfield Town Football Clubs at Clarence Park.

These people should be barred from any involvement in football. One things for sure, one day these slimeballs who fk with people's clubs to fuel their own egos or their bank balances will get their comeuppance. Some of them will end up running the football club at Ford Open Prison for a couple of years and reflect on the error of their ways.

I'm looking forward to our visit to your place next week. Let's see some good football and good luck for the rest of the season.
