Feedback on Posters.

I still believe that the matchday posters have made a considerable improvement to our attendances thus far this season. IF anyone has seen any floating around the isle can they let me know as to where they have been seen so as to get a picture of where they are and where they are not. Maybe plugging those vacant areas should be the next step in trying to increase the gates even more. Please could you,(and they should be out there)if you have seen any,let me know as to their whereabouts please.Just the name of the road will do.

I will start it off:

Norhdown road (near to me) margate town centre end. (Lets call that lower northdown road).

Victoria traffic lights (College Road and Ramsgate Road junction)

Thanks James. I did look at the vic traffic lights area, but didnt see any. Mind you I was looking from the car as was stationary at the lights so didnt really have that much time. I will have to look harder. Glad that area of all places has been covered.Am just trying to get a picture of what areas have been covered already & which havent.Thanks again.

Apart from James(thank you) and myself are there no more posters out there? Has no-one else seen any? If so where have they all gone to? Come on, surely others have seen some around!

I thought I would have been inundated with road addresses by now.

We have one up in Upper Dane Road and will continue to do so.

Just noticed on the way back from Council tonight that the newsagents just across the road (Martyns) doesnt have a poster in its window. Nice to see a house just down the road having a poster in its front window though.

Shall I put this another way then. Of all those who took a poster can they inform me of where they placed them,at what shop,in what road etc.

I am trying to get some idea of where they are NOW and where I can take them to in the future,to spread the word further afield.

I am not asking purely for the sake of asking.

Your help in this matter will avoid me having to drive round EVERYWHERE checking things out.I can then spend more time with those uncovered areas of the island.

Am I wasting my time & money then Cookie printing these posters? Perhaps people are just taking them for their own personal use & not taking them to local shops? For my part there is one in York Street Ramsgate in fruit & veg shop. He is a supporter of all Thanet teams

Maybe most posters were taken by those not coming on here Taffy,those that pick them up at the match but do not have a computer to hand so all is not lost. Maybe that accounts for the lack of info. Please,you are doing a great job with the posters and am sure others out there appreciate your help in this in the same way as it is appreciated with Peter,who makes them up. Between the two of you a good job is being done. I strongly believe the good attendances we are getting have a lot to do with these posters. Please keep up the good work. Without these posters I feel the gates would not be as high as they are,presuming they ARE being distributed that is.

I think Cookies right, you need to remember that out of the 1000 or so supporters we get through the turnstiles, only about 40 come on to the website. You only have to look at the results of the polls to see the figures. Therefore there is still nearly 1000 people out there supporting the club in other ways.

I put a poster in the Fish Inn in Broadstairs high street and will ask them to put future posters up.
