Enfield Town FC's best ever day........

.....was recorded at the Enfield Town show in the Enfield Town park in Enfield Town today. The weather was overcast throughout the day yet a dozen hardy souls organised the penalty shoot out competition which attracted over 240 paying customers.

Prizes were on offer and no one went away empty handed. It is hoped that a good percentage of those who did take part will use their free vouchers to come and watch Enfield Town FC in one of the many Southern League Eastern Division games this season. Having said all that, I never received my lollipop when I had my go!

The attraction was not just for the young, even the young at heart had a go with many more watching.

The Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Bill Price and the David Burrows, our local MP took part although neither scored too many goals. However, they did go away with a T shirt each which were generously donated to the Club by 'Direct Boot and Embroidery'.

Thanks to all the helpers and those who took part.
