What do you expect? Whats the average Coal Miners pay? A shinny penny an hour? If they work fourty hours a week they'll only get fourty pence, plus they have to eat.

 

No but on the serious side, their prices are £2.00 for youngsters and £10 for adults yet they still can only get 1,207. Take into account those that bought season tickets are counted even if they turn up or not and that figure seems like a very lean sum.

Which is about 300 more home fans than we have mustered for any game this season. Our next home one against Halifax is another potentially low crowd ( last two seasons we have not made it to 1000 ) .

 

We have got to try something as the flow of new faces that appeared once we hit the conference have now dried up.

Looks like we'll just have to do the only thing that works once the initial novelty of a new division has worn off: win a lot of home games.

Wasn't last season's match against Halifax re arranged...and if I remember correctly, a particularly miserable wet evening ! ( including the score !!).....not suprisingly a less than 1k crowd, although about 50 Halifax fans made it.
