Brilliant day today with the West Ham side eventually getting the honours.

Bit gutted I didn't get the Live Aid programme in the auction but great to be drinking with the likes of Frankie Mac, Tony Gale, Alvin Martin and Tilly in the away bar after the game.

A really entertaining day, well done to all those who played and organised the event.

I can't believe our very own Wayne Purser would lower himself to such an obvious dive, should have been given his marching orders!

Excellent day. It was really good to see all the canvey boys back playing on the hallow turf up against the legends of 86.

Frank Mac was a great laugh in the away club house, can see why he had a bit of a jack the lad reputation.

As for Wayne and his italian style dive, lets hope he try's it again in out supporters game against his legion lads and see his smile wiped of his face when the ref shows him the card

A fantastic day at Park Lane yesterday and thank you to everybody at the club (and Tony Cottee's company) involved in putting the game on and providing us with such top class entertainment.

Great to see nearly two and a half thousand people at the Lane - hopefully a good few of them will catch the bug and come back to see some Conference games during the season as well.

I personally would like to say how greatful and pleased I was to be able to collect the autographs of the Hammers players after the game as well. Those guys were an absolute credit to themselves and their club, happy to sign autographs (for over an hour and a half I understand) thereby sending the fans home happy at the end of a most memorable day. My twelve year old daughter Kelly and myself joined the queue for the players autographs, which was both orderly and kept moving by top class stewarding and once in it was a pleasure to meet these guys, all of who seemed happy to sign (unlike so many of the stars of today) but the highlight of the day was meeting one of my all time Celtic heroes Frank McAvennie, outside the main signing area having a fag - nothing was too much trouble for Frank. He was happy to pose with my daughter and myself for photos, chat about Celtic (he had been to the game v Aberdeen the day before) and I reckon if we had given him a hundred things to sign, he would happily have done them for us. He even told me to take my time sorting out my camera and things we wanted him to sign as "he wasn't going anywhere" - can you imagine too many of today's players saying that to a fan? A really great bloke who was so friendly and down to earth and the pleasure of meeting him will be a happy memory my daughter and I will cherish always.

Once again, a great day - hopefully it made Canvey some money and we can look forward to seeing more games like this at Park Lane in the future. Congrats to all...

Frankie Mac seemed a real laugh in the bar after the game. Good to see Tilly back as well. Has always been an approachable guy and one of the nicest blokes in football.

I liked the milk bottles (oops sorry legs. To be fair though I couldn't run around the pitch for half hour (or whatever it was) especially at my age so all things considered well done. How can we as supporters critise you mate many of us would have a coronary!

It was a foul i tell ya!!

It has been a long time since the legs came out and it feels like it aswell this morning.

The video of the game will be hopefully shown in the clubhouse on Thursday evening for all those who couldn't make it and for those who want to witness it again. Then you'll see what i mean.

Disgraceful display Wayno.....!

I was right behind the incident and shades of one of my all time Spurs fave's Jurgen sprang to mind.

After Paula's mention of your milk bottle's on show i reckon the least she can do is show you her white bits when she returns from camel country.

Of to sunny clime's tommorow as per the timer, have a lovely time Bab's (Ooopp's) Lol
