Tips on stewarding from Scarboro

Not a lot, but no doubt you'll hear about it in the coming weeks.

I doubt if you will, as it was nothing of any consequence. But what was interesting was the way it was handled.

We are very quick on here to have a pop at our stewards, but strangely can't comment on the actions of other teams!

I thought that they done well and showed common sense.

And was in marked contrast to the way we were treated the last time I went to the stadium of chips.

Up the Fleet ..

I think there might be a possibility of the club making some sort of statement so I don't want anything I say getting in the way of that.

Do you speak as a GNFC official then ? How would anything you say get in the way of any official statement.

As mentioned above, theres bugger all to make a statement about anyway. But for those of us that have been to football for many a year, that was the first time I have seen stewarding like that.

It was straight out of the classroom stuff.

Posting without knowing what you are talking about again Harry?

No obviously not. I said there might be a possibility. When did I say they definately will do? You've misquoted me David, this is a massive error, had I done the same to you I'd have gotten, no doubt, a mouthfull of abuse.

Many of us were talking about the possibility of the club making a statement. Some of those that I was talking to about this are people you call friends.

They did all they could do. As he is a minor they could not kick him out as he is too young. If they were going to kick him out they would have had to ring the police or social services, possibly at a cost. All they would have done is return him to his parents who were both in the ground.

The club could not kick his parents out as they did nothing wrong, so what they did do was really all they could do. This was obviously the most sensible thing as at the end of the day nobody got hurt.

Maybe the fact that "daddy" was chucking his cap everywhere when the first two went in had an effect on little "johnny" who decided to do what he had to do.

Should have kicked his dad out as well . Surely as a minor , he must be accompanied by a responsible adult. SO is that adult responsible for the kids attitude.

Still , its all done with now.

As you mention Harry, there were other options available , but they chose the sensible one by sitting him in a naughty chair. Which is the point I was making...

Many times you see stewards over reacting and being jobsworths.

Its all over now, so no point in going on about it or blowing it out of proportion...

Have you got some sort of mental problem?

Seriously, why are you still going on about something that noone from the Club saw yet alone will care about?

Not content with mentioning it for no apparent reason you continue to bang on about it demanding statements.

I suggest you get out more, or get an interest that isn't Internet based.
