Should be a good game I reckon. It's got to be Federer really, although it would be good to see an American win it (even if he did marry a german.)

It kicks off at 1PM American time and is on after the Womens Doubles final.

 

Federer is looking unstoppable so you can't look past him. Although I would like Agassi to win, I've always quite liked him and it'll break up the Federer dominance.

 

Mind you looking at this Agassi is due a win, he must be sick of the sight of Federer.

I think Federer will end up as being regarded as the best player ever, when Sampras was king he would always occasionally get beaten by Top 10 players which Federer just doesn't seem to do.

So Federer won it, watched the updates on the net last night.

Agassi won the 2nd set 6-2 but then Federer stepped up a level.

This isn't a great time to be a tennis player as I see 10 years of dominance coming the games way!

I reckon you are right mate. You've predicted the Wimbeldon and US Open winner from the outset.

It's impossible, and bordering on daft, to say that Federer will dominate for the next ten years.

 

Everyone said this about Martina Hingis - and then the Williams sisters came along.

 

And then everyone said it about the Williams sisters - but it hasn't been the case. I think Clijsters beat Pierce in Saturday's grand slam final.

 

Federer looks good for sure, but you never know who will be coming into the game, even within the next 12 months who can realistically challenge.

 

Personally, my money's on the guy from Harpenden!!

Hingis got injured and had to quit.

 

The womens game has always been more wide open.

 

It's quite a sweeping statement and I hope it's not true but he really is on another planet, thrashing Top 10 playeres on a regular basis.
