He's gone down to pick up his prize for winning the nonleaguedaily.com draw, and it's two free season-tickets!!

 

He's giving me the spare one!

The season-tickets are 'not transferable' Zeal.

 

As a matter of fact, Thornsy won two season-tickets in a competition, the competition organisers having purchased the tickets from the club at the outset. Thus, the lucky winners cannot be considered to be freeloaders as they are using tickets that were initially purchased.

 

If anyone were to lend their ticket to another party, however, then that [third] person could be considered to be a freeloader.

AFF, do you have any idea where I can purchase a stripy blazer which has a badge on the pocket featuring a large deer?

Cloth. I reckon another £5 on top for the blazer? Not bad as it'll get me into Conf South grounds free for the next twenty years.

The name of the back of the season tickets says Nationwide and somebody called James has signed it, do I have to change my name?

 

It is transferable but not for a price grater than appears on the front of the ticket, which is nothing <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

It does say it's issued subject to the rules and regulations of City, the FA and the Isthmian League That may be a useful get out clause it needed later on in the season when trouble inevitably arrives <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I think that your face is well enough known at t'Park Thornsy that you wouldn't get away with that nom de plume. Mind you, if you're ever nicked with a flare in your pocket and the Bill don't accept your defence that its a distress signal in the event that your Sunseeker gets into difficulties on the River Ver, you could flash the ticket and you might put them off the scent.

 

The Nationwide bit is probably something to do with the Nationwide Building Society as in Nationwide Conference. James is probably the husband of the Bar Manager. I always thought that he was up to no good. Its the goatee beard.
