I have emailed them again just now with details about the match tomorrow and will be listening intently throughout the afternoon to see if it gets mentioned.

 

If required, would someone be available to ring through a half/full time score and brief match details? I've offered this for them and will see if they come back with anything.

if they think that they are covering the slough area well, then they should be covering the local football clubs more often

We got a mention this evening, after all the league football. Considering they've promoted Slough Jets weekend matches on a couple of occasions today, I'm pretty disappointed.

I've now had a response from Angie Walker at Star FM who is the News Editor. Moving forwards, we're looking at doing a weekly catch up on events at the club, so credit to her for pushing this idea forwards.

 

Let's hope this can carry on.

did hear mention of them promoting our next match against margate on saturday...it seemed to be some kind of quiz they hold on th 5pm show whereby people phone in and ask questions about the area to test the presenters knowledge, one asked "only a true fan of slough would know this, who are Slough Town FC playing next?" anmd the presenter knew it was Margate! Fair play...

Maybe they are stating to include more local coverage. From the Maidenhead board seems they have been in touch with them:
