Hi Taz & thanks. I see your team is doing well this season so far.

Alex wasnt one of my favourites but he was certainly a trier. Was a difficult season for the club as a whole last year and the same with players having to play out of position.He certainly deserves something for his endeavour and has a good attitude. Runs all day and gets stuck in but personnaly I wouldnt put him in the highly talented bracket but having had to play out of position(whatever that is)I may be doing him an injustice. He will give you his all thats for sure!. Good luck to him and to your team this year.

Didnt rate him that much, i did feel sorry for him at times he was playing out of postion for the majorty of the games he played, and he always put in a 100%.

 

Still thats no excuss for the amount of times he give the ball away or would try the most ridiculous passes and would break down a good attacking movement. (as rare as they were last season)

 

Any how you might have more luck with him.

[color:"blue"]He's certainly young enough to develop if you got the set-up, I'd guess he's 18 now. He's slightly built and could benefit from being a bit bulkier, played a lot of last season as a defender (which he's not). He can be a bit fiery & got booked a few times for his over-exuberance.

We signed him last season to sit on the bench and give us a few minutes a week, but because of injuries & our transfer embargo he played quite a lot (don't think he was really ready for such an intense season). His passing was a little wayward, but he didn't shun from what was asked of him.

I'd guess he's ideally an attacking midfielder and will have benefitted from the experience of last season.

Overall he's one for the future and, at the moment just a squad player. If that's what you're looking for he'll do a good job, if you want someone to step in immediately as a starter, then perhaps you've got the wrong player.

He has a great 'engine' and will run all day. As Peter says he is no defender, but circumstances were difficult last season. You won't be able to complain about lack of effort though.
